Working with schools Projects completed with 4 schools on the Central Coast: Somersby Public School, Holgate Public school, Kariong public school and Wadalba Community School
Working with Schools - Holgate Sculpture

Holgate School Sculpture: This was the Year 6 leaving gift to the school. We created a totem pole where Year 6 could hang something to represent themselves. We mainly used sticks from the school environment but some of the children brought in special objects like a cricket bat, skateboard, wooden spoon. Each item was painted and decorated to represent themselves. They used favourite colours, words, fabrics, painted on symbols. This was a project to explore their own identities within art and leave behind their own totem as an expression and visual language of themselves.
Working with Schools - Holgate Picasso Cow

Holgate Public School Picasso Cow: This project was for a National School competition. A group of children were chosen to come up with ideas and drawings, and then paint the preformed cow sculpture.
Holgate Junk yard orchestra: Worked with the orchestra and the school to create musical instruments out of rubbish and recycled materials.
